The Hive Dive #5 Recap & #6 Prep!
We had a small but awesome group yesterday. After discussing and getting guidance on our personal practices, we dove headfirst into Krista Tippett's book and spent most of the session exploring the concepts that she presented in the Intro and Chapter 3 - Flesh: The Body's Grace. We also practiced another pranamaya technique called 3-Part (or "Wave") Breath.
We missed having many of you with us in person and, I am so sorry to say, that after an hour with Zoom's technical support team this morning, it appears as though somehow (literally, they chalked it up to "mystery") the recording was NOT stored. So, I don't have that to share with you. :(
I do, however, have to short videos to share that we watched as part of our discussion. I hope you enjoy them.

Prep for Session #6:
- continue with your personal practices
- read Ch. 4 in Becoming Wise
- create a final synthesis of all that you've read, learned, and experienced throughout these past 6-months. This can be in the form of writing (essay, poem, journal), painting, collage, music... whatever you feel best gives expression to your experience AND will serve as a great reminder to you as you move forward in your life, Post-The Hive Dive.
As a reminder - please email me your MOST meaningful/important passage or quote that you've read, thus far, in either of the texts or any of the blogs. I have a little surprise I'm working on but will need your quote by the end of THIS WEEK!
LASTLY: For our final session on July 1st, please note that we will be meeting at The Broad (209 N. Foushee Street). I will send a reminder but please make a note of it now.
