That day I wore a dress...

It feels important to document the fact that I wore a dress the other day. And shoes. 

And I felt freaking great.

Also, related: I didn’t yell at my kids. 

The little things ARE the big things. The little things quite literally make up the big things. 

How I am and how I feel today is the direct result of the cumulative effect of all the tiny choices, actions, and decisions I’ve made over the course of many months (or, more truthfully, many, many years).

The quality of our lives is shaped by the intentional inclusion or exclusion of specific things (experiences, materials, people, what we consume, etc). 

And because life is an ever-evolving, ever-changing thing, we must be willing and able to adjust accordingly.

If you’re curious, right now the things I intentionally (and non-negotiably) include daily are
(these are not recommendations for you but rather what I’ve found necessary for me):
🔅exercise
🔅time outside
🔅supplements including: women’s multivitamin, vitamin D3, B12 complex, fish oil, ashwagandha, magnesium complex, iron, red yeast rice w/co-q 10)
🔅mood stabilizer 
🔅meditation
🔅7-8 hrs of sleep
🔅consuming music or reading that nourishes me
🔅foods high in nutritional content and low in (but not absent of) dairy, wheat, and meat
🔅moments of quiet whenever and however I can get them
🔅some connection with a friend who operates at my same frequency, if possible

I probably sound like a super boring person 🙄😬 ... But ...
these are the little things that work for me, for now. And I expect that will change...

The support and presence of a group of committed peers helps guide individuals in personal growth and transformation. This is the School of Unlearning. No prior meditation experience necessary.
