Practices to support your life

One of the more amazing things about Yoga is that it has the capacity to meet you where you are, to bend and shape itself as a practice to meet your needs.

Over the years, I’ve moved from a fiery, dynamic and physically challenging practice, to one intensely focused on precision of alignment and subtle body exploration. To, now, one that is almost 💯 about restoring and nourishing my body - muscles, joints, and nervous system.

No matter the form or style or “goal” or methodology, Yoga has ultimately always connected me to myself and to Consciousness. Yoga introduced me to an experience of myself which I have further understood and cultivated through meditation and inner work.

I’m so grateful to know how to allow Yoga to continue to support me, especially in these challenging times with intense limitations of time and space, and with an ongoing accumulation of intensely difficult conditions in the environment around us.

And I’m so grateful to be able to continue to offer my teaching to you, whenever and wherever you are able to practice.

Join me on Patreon for weekly meditations, short format yoga practices and longer practices for those with more time and space. With multiple tiers of membership to choose from (starting at only $5/mo), you can select an option that best fits your life right now.

All members, regardless of tier, who are signed up by Oct 15, will receive an invitation for a live workshop/Q&A! Link to sign up in my profile.

There are fewer barriers to self-care than you’re telling yourself 😉❤️🙏🏼

✨SPONTANEITY✨

That’s what I want to focus on most when it comes to my health in this coming year.

Why?

Because: if you’re familiar with me and my health journey, you know that I’ve spent some time in some deeply challenging places throughout my life.

So, to preserve my mental health, exercise & nutrition & quality sleep have become non-negotiable. I must make these things an absolute priority in my daily life or I risk stepping onto a very steep and very slippery slope.

And, because of all of that, I’ve become quite attached to the things I think are going to keep me well and safe. This attachment is based in fear - fear that with one misstep, I’ll return to a place from which I think I may not return.

Choosing from fear, however, doesn’t support health, holistically. It can damage it. Fear also creates rigidity, a fixed and inflexible experience of life.

The truth is, I can trust myself with my health - I can trust myself with what I know supports my wellbeing - and I trust that I can and will always learn and that I cannot undo the things I’ve worked so hard to create for myself.

So I’m working on reengaging with the a more open, spontaneous, dynamic relationship with my health - all the components of it.

I love that RebelleCon is exploring this super important (and often overlooked) aspect of women’s lives in their Fall Rebelle Con Virtual, Oct 25-27. Always an amazing time with incredible humans and expansive content. They've just opened up their waitlist for membership which includes attendance for the full conference (plus many other amazing things!).
