Meet me here, in the Truth


Like many of you, I'm sure, I am still finding my bearings with all of the changes over the past few weeks — the flurry of fear, the wildly chaotic attempts to make sense of things, with getting lost in it all while also trying to stay as intimately connected to what I know to be true... 

I have held space for so much grief and fear and uncertainty over the past few weeks — my own and that of friends, family, community members, clients, students.


And my only assurance is that we will meet it.
 

Not that it'll be ok or that the things we fear won't actually happen, or that it's not as bad as we think it is. I have no interest in anything other than the truth. And, in my experience, the truth is more often than not, heartbreakingly painful. 


But what is our choice? We already are meeting it and we will continue to do so. 


As the beautiful human and poet Andrea Gibson said, “even when the truth isn’t hopeful, the telling of it is.” 
 

So meet me here, in the truth. Be with me here so that we can imagine a way forward with possibility.


What is needed, right now, from the individual level to the community level? 

How can we show up in service of collective care and wellbeing? 

What is needed to create the space and increase our capacity to prioritize what matters the most?


I have much more to share on this and, specifically, about how we can remember and lean in to the agency of our attention as an antidote to the extreme distraction that is being experienced. I’ll share that soon…
 

Until then, here’s to the telling of the truth and finding hope in that.

There is a way to explore new possibilities within a trusted group of your peers.

ignite members learn that a successful life isn’t built by checking off the next achievement. It’s built from the inside out, with intention, support, and community.

Join us for a 12-month professionally guided and facilitated program for  seekers looking to create an intentional and successful life surrounded by a community of curious individuals doing the same. 

Whether you are looking to shape the vision you already have, create an entirely new pursuit of a purposeful life, or expand your ideas about what is possible — ignite will help you get there.

For one whole year, our meetings take place twice a month, virtually to allow  ease of scheduling and are facilitated by our leadership coaches.


--> the first 6 months, you’ll be guided (by ME!) on the journey to create Your Intentional Life through deep exploration of mindfulness, meditation, self-discovery, self-care, and habits & productivity

--> the last 6 months will be a combination of Practical Self-Care, a facilitated practice and integration of caring for your mind and body & Community Connect which focuses on intrapersonal relationship building through talks and guided meetings to build lasting connections

Spring Retreat: Nourishing the Whole Self at River Mountain
Space to explore aspects of yourself and your sense of well-being. Discover and nurture parts of yourself that need it most–whether that’s through connection and community, quiet and introspection, movement or stillness, activity or rest. Leave not just restored and rejuvenated but with the knowledge and know-how to bring wellness into your daily life.

  • Twice daily yoga and meditation
  • Nourishing and delicious food
  • Connection with self and others
  • Soak in outdoor hot springs-filled tubs and do a cold plunge in the pond
  • Wander through or rest in nature.

Option to arrive early on 3/19! Early arrival includes accommodations, meals, and access to all amenities on-site. The retreat will officially begin on March 20th at 5pm.
