Let's Talk About Self-Care
 

For me, self-care is much less about doing the things I *want * to do and much more about doing the things I’m telling myself I can’t.

That is true physically, emotionally, mentally, energetically, and spiritually. 

Because knowing that the “I can’t” is really just me bumping up against something internally - maybe that I can’t even see or hear - that needs to be moved through. 

The barriers inside cannot be removed by following the very rules and ideas with which they’ve been built.

The heaviness is palpable right now. And almost every cell in my body and thought in my brain was saying, “give up. Just lay down in a dark room and stay.”

But I know that old tale… it’s a super familiar one… and I know how it ends. Every. Single. Time.

So, I put on my running clothes & shoes. Put on my rain jacket. And with each step chose the next one. For all 5 miles of the chilly rainy run. Each step was the not giving in to the tale but choosing to do it differently.

What are you telling yourself you can’t do right now? Trust that you, in fact, can - just by doing the next thing. And the next one. You’ve got this.

A monthly membership of only $20 will give you access to all of my short & long yoga classes, short & long meditations, and pranayama practices. I plan to publish new content each month (deep relaxation / yoga nidra, more meditations, etc).

We all have learned who to be, what to be, and how to be in this world. This conditioned way of operating in the world keeps us limited in our relationship to our life as it directs us, unconsciously, in the choices we make, the actions we take, and in what we believe about ourselves and the world.

Through awareness-based coaching tools & practices, we have the chance to begin to undo the unconscious parts of ourselves that have us operating in a state of unrecognized reactivity to life. The support and presence of a group of committed peers helps guide individuals in personal growth and transformation.No prior meditation experience necessary.

Payments 
Payment for groups is a pay-what-you-can donation. Please choose an amount that feels like a meaningful exchange for the work and teachings being given. My suggested range is $100-$300 per 12-week session, though you can choose a lesser or greater amount if you'd like.
