Live your life.
 

"At the end of his life, the great picture book author and illustrator, Maurice Sendak said on the NPR show Fresh Air, 'I cry a lot because I miss people. I cry a lot because they die, and I can't stop them. They leave me, and I love them more.'

He said, 'I'm finding out as I'm aging that I'm in love with the world.'

It has taken me all of my life up until now to fall in love with the world… To fall in love with the world isn’t to ignore or overlook suffering, both human and otherwise. For me anyway, to fall in love with the world is to look up at the night sky and feel your mind swim before the beauty and distance of the stars. It is to hold your children while they cry, to watch as the sycamore trees leaf out in June. When my breastbone starts to hurt, and my throat tightens, and tears well in my eyes, I want to look away from feeling. I want to deflect with irony, or anything else that will keep me from feeling directly. We all know how loving ends. But I want to fall in love with the world anyway, to let it crack me open. I want to feel what there is to feel while I am here.

Sendak ended that interview with the last words he ever said in public: 'Live your life. Live your life. Live your life.'"

Weekly Meditation & Coaching Groups
changing our relationship to life, from the inside out

  

 

We all have learned who to be, what to be, and how to be in this world. This conditioned way of operating in the world keeps us limited in our relationship to our life as it directs us, unconsciously, in the choices we make, the actions we take, and in what we believe about ourselves and the world.

Through awareness-based coaching tools & practices, we have the chance to begin to undo the unconscious parts of ourselves that have us operating in a state of unrecognized reactivity to life. The support and presence of a group of committed peers helps guide individuals in personal growth and transformation. No prior meditation experience necessary.


Currently in the Winter 12-Week session - ends March 25

Open-enrollment w/prorated payment option - if you are interested in joining a meditation group,
please email me ASAP. If you have not worked with me in some capacity before, please let me know - I will request a quick video call to learn more about you to make sure this is the right fit.

Payment 
Payment for groups is a pay-what-you-can donation. Please choose an amount that feels like a meaningful exchange for the work and teachings being given. My suggested range is $100-$300 per 12-week session, though you can choose a lesser or greater amount if you'd like. Prorated options available.

I am thrilled to be able to offer you a brand new, beautifully created digital Resource Library. This is the new home of ALL of my recorded classes from close to 18 months of teaching virtually! 

A monthly membership of only $20 will give you access to all of my short & long yoga classes, short & long meditations, and pranayama practices. I plan to publish new content each month (deep relaxation / yoga nidra, more meditations, etc).
