Local wildlife center is taking care of barn owls after rescuing them from silo
LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- A central Pennsylvania wildlife center is taking care of barn owls it recently rescued from what it called a "critical situation" in a silo on a farm.

Owl Animal Facts - Strigiformes
Owls (order Strigiformes) are nocturnal-to-crepuscular birds of prey characterized by forward-facing eyes, a facial disc that helps funnel sound, and highly adapted hearing for hunting. The order contains two main families: Tytonidae (barn owls) and Strigidae (true owls).
