Hello everyone!
I know it has been an ABSOLUTE AGE, and I apologize. But I have a good reason! I am awaiting the birth of my second child at the end of this coming fall, and I have spent the beginning of this year wrapped in The Hanged Man of the first trimester. It’s been a beautiful time in a lot of ways, full of quiet and a lot of focused time on large design projects, but I am glad to be feeling ready to turn a little bit more outward again with my art. Until this little one arrives, at least!
Today I have released a new divination zine called Mnemosyne. Back in the winter, I spent some time rereading my dream journals as part of a reflection on Tarot’s Moon card. Inside, I found a bunch of mentions of a setting I hadn’t realized had been recurring for months. The plot would be different, but the house was always the same. I pulled more excerpts from my journal to build a rough story of strange images, some new and some familiar, and to grapple with the slipperiness of memory. This piece is weird, and vulnerable, but I loved creating it. You can read just the essay here, or order the print version from my Ko-Fi shop. The printed zine unfolds to reveal a spread that will help you interpret your own dreams.
On an administrative note, I’ve recently moved to a rolling calendar for divination bookings, instead of monthly calendar releases! I’ll be updating my availability every two weeks or so, and you can pop into Calendly to book with me.
I would love to hear what you’ve been up to! I hope to check in with you all much more this coming summer.
All my love,
Ash
