No Newsletter Today
By which I actually mean, a very short newsletter.
Yesterday, I spent way more than an hour on the newsletter. This was fine because the one-hour constraint is just a guideline to keep me from worrying about how polished these pieces are or giving up and deciding not to send anything. I got into what I was writing yesterday and so I just kept going with it until it felt done enough for me to hit send.
Today, I prioritized other things besides the newsletter and it got later and later in the day. After we had dinner, E and I checked in about a bunch of life stuff that's been on hold because of the holidays - scheduling COVID boosters, finding a midwife, getting my German driver's license, etc.
And now I could spend an hour working on a new issue of On / Off before I go to bed OR I could play video games with my husband. Sooooooo I'm gonna play video games. :)
Thanks for understanding!
(P.S. We're playing Inscryption, which was Polygon, Brian David Gilbert, and Griffin McElroy's 2021 game of the year. It's very spooky, but also fun!)
