Hey everyone,

It’s only been a week since our last build night but we are hosting one tomorrow Feb 27th 8pm—11pm to put us back on the normal every two weeks schedule.

Build night last Friday was a springing good time with folks meeting new people, building e-ink display projects, printing on the new XL, and more.

We have a number of shop infrastructure tasks we’d love your help with, so if you are looking for something to do tomorrow night, come find me.

When are you opening?
We are still actively pushing forward towards opening, but a few big items remain. Biggest of all will be getting the 4ft x 8ft ShopBot in (should arrive early march) and building the dust and exhaust system.
When that is ready we plan to Soft Open where John or I will be onsite but the hours will be odd, membership dues will be discounted, and we will learn and figure out what is and isn’t working.
From there we plan to have an Open House and set our regular opening hours.

We had planned on this all going a bit faster, but we are learning and figuring out everything as we go. Thank you for your patience and coming on this journey with us as we build out this community and space together.
