This week in Eagles Select
Women’s College World Series
The Women’s College World Series is in full swing in Oklahoma City. It’s the most exciting time of the year for softball and a great opportunity to watch softball on TV!
Pro Softball!
This week Major League Baseball announced an investment in the Athletes Unlimited Professional Softball League, bringing viable professional softball one step closer to reality.
There have been many professional softball leagues over the years, but none have had the financial support to grow into a truly sustainable business. Hopefully, this makes the dream of a professional career for softball players beyond college a reality.
Young baseball players have always been able to watch, follow, and learn from the great players in the MLB. They’ll talk about their favorite players like Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, or Aaron Judge. Now, hopefully, this gives young softball players the same opportunity to watch, learn, and follow the best professional softball players in the game and maybe we’ll start hearing them talk about their favorite players like Montana Fouts, Skylar Wallace, or Samantha Landry

I encourage everyone (players and parents) to watch the Women’s College World Series and professional softball whenever you get the chance. You never know who you may be inspiring to be next.
Where is everyone playing this week?
