TOMORROW: Ask Us Anything About Camp & Discuss This Year’s Theme
REMINDER: Ask Us Anything About Camp Thursday April 18
Our theme for this year is Migration: Moving Together. To kick off our AUA session, our organizing team will discuss why we chose this theme and how we hope it will be manifested at Camp this year.
Bring questions about what to expect at Camp this year. Some of our organizers will be available to answer your questions directly. If you have friends or colleagues curious about the event, this is the perfect way to introduce them to our unique, outdoors event. We’ll have two sessions so we hope you can make it to one!

DWeb Camp is a five-day retreat for builders and dreamers to connect, learn, share and have fun as we work towards building a better, decentralized web. A web that actualizes the principles of trust, human agency, mutual respect, and ecological awareness.
As always, our goal is to create a safe space and a caring community, grounded outside in nature, where we can explore the hidden dynamics and consequences of technology. A place where we can build tools to solve real-world needs.
If you have preferences for camp accommodations, act now to secure your favorite cabins and tents.

Call for Session Proposals
Every year at Camp, we ask of ourselves, what do we have to share?
Here’s an idea: you can propose activities, talks, panel discussions, presentations, or workshops about a variety of topics. It could be a project you are involved in, a personal interest, or an insight you've had recently. We invite you to be part of the lineup of inspiring talks, interactive workshops, and engaging discussions that make up DWeb Camp. We look forward to receiving your proposals and creating an unforgettable experience together.
Volunteer at DWeb Camp
There are lots of ways to stay connected and involved at DWeb Camp. We are looking for leaders with many skills. DWeb Camp is built and run by volunteer power. Are you a team player, a DIY builder who loves the outdoors? Can you paint a sign, lay cables or help erect a tent? Are you a thrifty maker, known for turning discarded items into gold? Then we are looking for you!
Apply by May 24, 2024 to be a Space Steward, Weaver or Volunteer
Volunteers work before, during or after the camp as part of a fun and dedicated team of superheroes.
Half time volunteers cover five 3-hour shifts during Camp and qualify for a 50% ticket reimbursement. (Total commitment: 15 hours)
Full time volunteers come to both the BUILD (August 5-7) and TAKE DOWN (August 11-12) to help set up and strike the camp. Then during Camp, volunteer five additional 3-hour shifts and qualify for a 100% ticket reimbursement. (Total commitment: time at build and takedown + 15 hours)
Or just volunteer for the fun and camaraderie.
Space Stewards help guide and support activities in specific venues around the camp. They curate the session proposals before the event, and assist in facilitating the space’s activities. If selected, space stewards receive 100% free campership and just have to cover lodging and transportation!
Weavers facilitate small group discussions in their sharing circle of 5-8 people at the end of each day. This helps Campers connect more deeply with others and reflect on the day’s activities and discussions.
Be sure to buy a ticket now to secure a spot and if selected we will refund your ticket fees. If you do not secure a spot and choose not to come, we're happy to refund your ticket in full. The deadline for refunds is July 6, 11:59pm PT. Thanks for reading!Questions? Write to dweb@archive.orgStay in touch via our Matrix Channel, Discord, Bluesky, Mastodon, or X.
