One Week to #DWebCamp2023
#DWebCamp2023 schedule is up⛺️🎉
The DWeb Camp Schedule is up at https://dwebcamp.org/schedule/. We have more than 300 workshops, talks, LARPs, games, performances and classes for you to peruse, so get started!
You can start planning your time at Camp and creating your own schedule using Sched. Please log in and update your profile and photo. If you are a speaker, the app allows you to email those attending your session, update the description, or post your slides.
PRO TIP: please download the Sched App to your phone and refresh before arriving at Camp. In some areas of the camp, WiFi is limited. There is no cell service.
Want to create notes, photos, and artifacts from your DWeb Camp experiences? Then preserve them in the Internet Archive? Well, our friends at Holochain have built a new local-first, P2P tool to do just that: Emergence. We’ll help you get started when you arrive. Opening day is just a week away and close to 500 campers have signed up to meet in the Redwoods to share, learn and be in community with each other. Are you ready? Check out some of the amazing campers who will be attending on People page. And we’ve put together a comprehensive check list of essential information & packing lists. Weather forecast is chilly, so pack a few layers! There is water in the river for splashing and wading. Read on for your final preparations.
Bus to camp: more seats added!
DWeb Camp is approximately 2.5 hours drive from San Francisco. We’ve organized a round-trip bus that will take 55 passengers to and from DWeb Camp. You must have bought a roundtrip ticket ($120) to reserve a seat on the bus. Drop-off points are between the Internet Archive (300 Funston Ave, San Francisco, CA 94118) and DWeb Camp. We leave at 11am on both Wednesday, June 21st and Sunday, June 25th. Masks will be required for the entire duration of the bus ride.
NOTE: To buy a bus ticket if you’ve already registered, go back to the ticketing site, enter the code “ADDONACCESS” and you will be able to buy more products like bus tickets.
Are you looking to carpool with other campers? If you'd rather carpool, you can still sign up to offer a ride, or request one through this informal rideshare form . NOTE: If there are three people in your car, parking is free!

#DWebCamp2023 Covid Protocol
Together, we want to create a safe environment for everyone at this year’s DWeb Camp. In 2022, less than 1 percent of campers came down with COVID. Those four campers were quickly tested and we helped them to return home or find hotels nearby, preventing widespread transmission. Our post-camp survey respondents reported zero cases of post-camp infection. To achieve a culture of safety, here are our 2023 Covid requirements.
