Join our DWeb Meetup Tomorrow!
We're counting down to DWeb Camp and we're sure you are too! You're probably curious who's coming to DWeb Camp. What projects will you learn about? Who will you meet? The good news is, you do not have to wait till August to find out. Come to our Meetup tomorrow, Tuesday July 19 at 4pm PT to learn about some of the projects, workshops, talks and presentations at DWeb Camp. There will be lighting talks from projects across the DWeb ecosystem that will be at camp. Afterwards, we will have a Q and A with these folks and be available to answer any questions you might have about DWeb Camp. We will have a rich mix of presentations from technologists, community networks, social good and more. Presenters at this meetup are:
- MetaGov's Cent Hosten and Tony Lai talking about the Redwood Parliament
- Amelia Winger-Bearskin, AI technologist & artist on the climate-related happenings
- Esther Jang & Ben Lau talking about the vibrant Mesh Network experiments happening this year at camp
- Fabiola Maurice & Jack Fox Keen talking about The Guardian Project's Butter Box and ProofMode
- Golda Velez of DSocial Commons (formerly the Bluesky Community) will be talking about the User Testing Lab
- Harry Evans, CTO of Unfinished Labs previewing the DSNP (Decentralized Social Networking Protocol)
Come with your questions and curiousity about camp and these projects.
In less than 40 days, we will be gathering at Camp Navarro in the beautiful redwoods near the Mendocino coast of California. If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, you still can at dwebcamp.org. Get your tickets and accomodations to DWeb Camp now as spots are filling up quickly and almost all gone. There are 12 deluxe tickets, 10 RV spots, and 6 cabins left.

DWEB CAMP COVID PROTOCOL
We’ve come a long way since the Covid-19 pandemic began. However, it isn’t over yet. New variants are creating a shifting landscape but we are hopeful that by the end of August, the current spike will be waning. Together, we would like to create a safe culture for everyone to enjoy this year’s DWeb Camp. Read about what we're doing here.
