π’ Early Bird Pricing for DWeb Camp ENDS this Friday May 31! π’
Early Bird Pricing ends Friday May 31Lock in your DWeb Camp plans now
Starting June 1, ticket prices will increase to reflect our true costs. Lock-in your plans and get your tickets now with Early Bird pricing through May 31 at midnight!
DWeb Camp remains committed to making the experience as affordable as possible. Thatβs why weβre using a sliding scale for ticket prices based on your income β determined completely by the honor system. But inflation is driving up the costs for food, equipment, and staffing. So this year the true cost to attend is $1400 per person.
From this Saturday June 1, we will ask attendees to pay the Full Rate of $1400. For those with more resources, we ask to pay $2000 to help others come at below cost; and for others with lower income, we offer a Reduced Rate at 50% off, or $700
Hope to see you in the redwoods! π

Recap: DWeb Hanoi Meetup
Last week marked our first-ever DWeb Meetup in Hanoi, Vietnam! The group explored the potential of decentralized technologies within Vietnam's unique context, considering the challenges posed by limited public awareness of data ownership and the dominance of centralized tech giants. They were joined by TB Dinesh from DWeb Node Bangalore, who shared insights into his project with Janastu, the Community Owned/Operated Wireless (COW) Mesh. His presentation sparked discussions on the adoption of community networks in rural areas of Vietnam, highlighting the delicate balance between Internet inclusion, data sovereignty, globalization, and social integration.
