about DWeb Camp
DWeb Camp is back and we’re hosting our first information session. This is a five-day retreat where builders and dreamers gather in nature to connect, learn, share, and have fun while working towards building a better, more decentralized web. It is a chance to gather and freely exchange ideas about the technologies, laws, practices and agreements we need to build a decentralized web that uplifts communities and help bring about justice and social equity through network technologies.
Come meet the team behind DWeb Camp and ask us any questions about Camp or DWeb Fellowships. Register on Eventbrite and see you then!

Be part of amazing cohort of community organizers, technologists, educators, researchers, and artists who are not only imagining a better Web, but are building them for and alongside marginalized populations. Application deadline: Wednesday March 15, 2023, end of day wherever you are.
🪷 Come find your flow 🪷
It’s not too early to start planning for the summer. DWeb Camp 2023 is all about discovering flows. Flows are everywhere, but most of us don’t perceive them.
Discovering flow means tapping into the most powerful forces around us:
Nature. Technology. Community. You.
These four flows are all connected, influencing each other. We invite you to join us in the California redwoods at DWeb Camp 2023, from June 21 to 25, and tap into these hidden flows, to amplify our collective impact in the world.
Open Call: Groundwork Fellowship
The Groundwork Fellowship is a three month online fellowship hosted by Metagov. It is meant to bring community-based researchers into the design process. The fellowship will convene a cohort or 4-6 fellows actively working and experimenting within communities currently under-represented in technical conversations.
Fellows will explore and share lessons with each other and Metagov researchers. The ultimate aim of the fellowship is to strengthen the foundations and networks necessary for a new paradigm in the design of online spaces. These are folks who can give voice to communities experiencing either online or offline marginalization due to internet infrastructure injustices or inequalities.
