LazyVim for Ambitious Developers: Chapter 20 Released
Hi everyone,
I just pushed Chapter 20 up for public consumption. It’s a really short chapter with some tips about places to find new plugins, explore other configurations and more.
I’m struggling with IngramSpark for publication; their user experience and customer support have both managed to be worse than Amazon’s. That is such an incredibly low bar that I suspect they’ve had to hire olympic limbo champions to clear it.
It won’t do you any good for me to rant about the experience they’ve given me (though it might help me), so I’ll just give you the short version: I’m firing them and exploring alternative printing options now.
My new plan is to not worry about distribution channels (i.e. bookstores) and to sell direct. You all know where to find me, and the distribution channels take virtually all the earnings. I’ll be preparing the ebook as a pay-to-download link later this week. The latest version of the ebook will always be available to my current Patreon supporters. The free html version is also not going anywhere. The print version may be a little behind, but I’ll do my best to get it out to you in early September.
Finally, If any of you are following my new Roc compiler series, the latest article is now available on my blog.
