LazyVim for Ambitious Developers: Chapter 10 Released
Hi everyone,
I usually get these out on the weekend, but I’m a bit late for several reasons. Those reasons will also be why this message is quite long!
First of all, I finished editing Chapter 10 and released it this morning! This is a fairly short chapter on Language Server integrations. Language servers are what made Visual Studio Code the default editor for me (and many others) for several years, but other editors have caught up with first class support. LazyVim’s preconfigured language extras make them very easy to work with.
Second, I managed initial edits on not one, but two new chapters now available on Patreon for preview. I’m hoping to power through the rest of them in the next few weeks.
Third, while it’s not available anywhere yet, I wrote the initial draft for a new chapter on Neotest. This was the last new content that I had planned for the book, but if there are any topics you think are missing from the left sidebar, let me know and I’ll try to cover them.
Finally, we have an editor in our midst! I had over 40 super high-quality and thoughtful errata submitted over the weekend. If you are reading this: Thank you so much. I was so confident that these were submitted by my extremely talented editor from my days writing for O’Reilly that I thanked her for your efforts. 😅
Have a great week,
Dusty Phillips
