Podcasts, videos, books and tweets of the week 11

Wibble

Hello to all our new subscribers this week! We will be ramping up quality content as we finish work on our book. Lots of fun to be had.

Remember we put out a podcast this week!

Fallout
The Russian Way of War: Series Two
Listen now (70 min) | Proud to present our new series to follow up on Series 1 - the Russian Way of War. Bringing you discussions that don’t cover the usual talking points. Not friendly to Russia but critical of the West (send more arms to Ukraine). This episode we reintroduce ourselves and our views, as well as summing up what has changed and what hasn’t since February…

The outtakes are hilarious so we will release them down the line. However this podcast is rather serious!

I did forget to mention, like I have previously stated, I never thought a ground assoil on Kherson city was the intentions of the AFU. It would have been extremely costly in Ukrainian lives. And it would have destroyed the city.

Imperialist running dogs, unite!

Heartland’s Tim Benson is joined by Richard Overy, Professor of History at the University of Exeter, to discuss his new book, “Blood and Ruins: The Last Imperial War, 1931-1945.” They discuss why the Second World War should be considered the last imperial war, why the war needs to be looked at with a broader, more global perspective, and why it’s protracted, messy aftermath goes far beyond 1945.

Book of the week

To defeat your enemy you must know your enemy, in this case the RAND corp military-industrial complex lunatics.

The effective use of engagement and information (internally directed indoctrination and externally directed messaging) can greatly influence will to fight and thus should improve the chances of victory. These mechanisms are most effective before a conflict begins.

I mean some of the ideas are fine but its all rather Colonel Kurtz and channelled fascist democratic.
