Starting here
This is the first thing on this list, and it is mostly here so the list has something in it.
What it is: notes on what got built, when there is something worth writing up. No schedule, because there isn't one. If that turns out to be once a month, it's once a month.
What I'm building, as of today.
Two you can actually use:
- Well-Intel Permits — every drilling permit from four state regulators (Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana) in one place. Free accounts see a permit at least seven days after it's issued; Pro sees same-day filings and gets emailed when a watch matches.
- Fader — the forecast for a fantasy lineup. Projections with their likely range rather than a single number, close calls called close, and every forecast graded in public afterwards.
Two being built, with nothing to sell yet: Fader Odds, the market-data half of Fader, and Resolution Risk, which reads the rules documents behind prediction markets and flags where a contract could settle in a way its traders didn't expect. It never trades.
And six I built for myself, which are most of the work: Producer, Short Studio, MegaBrain, Command Center, Broadcaster, and a voxel water simulation called Wahta.
The whole list, with the state each one is actually in, is at drwbuilds.com/products. Four of the ten aren't finished, and each one says so on its own card.
No numbers in this issue, because none are collected — there's no analytics on the site, so there's nothing to report and nothing to inflate.
