Tons of new classes!
Congrats on making it through January! We’re celebrating with a slate of tons of new classes at The Dropped Stitch:

First off, we’re welcoming Ira Beare to the team with a class on the super-cool and surprisingly simple double-knitting technique. They’ll help you design your own colorwork chart and create a piece of unique invertible fiber art. I’m really pumped for this one and expect it to sell out fast, so don’t wait too long to grab your ticket!

If knitting isn’t your thing but you still want to get in on that pixel art style, local artist Oriana Carletto will be leading an introductory cross-stitch class in March! This addictive, low-investment craft is a lot of fun and I hope to see you there.

Maggie and Jess, our knitting and crochet teachers, have been busy creating new classes too! Jess’s single-session strawberry bag workshop is a great second step for her beginning crochet class graduates, and Maggie’s five-week sweater workshop is a great complement to anyone who was interested in her Make Your First Sweater class but wanted more options (or didn’t get to buy a ticket before it sold out).
Plus, new dates in April for our ever-popular Learn to Knit and Make Your First Sock classes. And we’ve still got some room available in Jess’s February Learn to Crochet class, the upcoming Thursday night Make Your First Sock class, Advanced Embroidery with Esther, and more. And don’t forget about our weekly Craft Nights if you’d rather just hang out and make stuff with your neighbors!
See you around soon!
