Open call for finished projects! (Also, new stuff!)
Hey stitchers,
The 21st annual Andersonville Arts Weekend is coming up! From October 3 to 5, shops around the neighborhood will be displaying work from local artists, and we’ll be open late on Friday, October 3 for a little shindig.
If you’ve ever taken a class, bought yarn, or just come in to chat here at the shop, we’d love to host some of YOUR work! Even if it’s “beginner level” or doesn’t quite fit, it’s still a one-of-a-kind creation, and YOU are still a fiber artist.
So if you’re interested, please reply to this email with a little information about you and a picture of a piece you’d like to lend us for a weekend. (Anything goes!) We can’t wait to see what you’ve got!
Also - we’ve been restocking like crazy since Yarn Crawl and we’ve got a lot of new stuff in stock! Besides refreshes of our Universal Yarn, Kiriki Press, and DMC products (including some very lovely cross-stitch kits), we’ve got a brand-new product line - Alegria, a luscious sock yarn from Manos del Uruguay, in 15 gorgeous colors that you need to really see to believe. Come in and touch them any time!
