Jeopardy and a trunk show!
It’s an exciting Valenpresidentine’s Day (I just made that up) weekend here at the Dropped Stitch! First off, for this weekend only (Friday through Sunday), we’re hosting indie dyer Yarntrekker’s gorgeous selection of hand-dyed yarns in sizes from lace to bulky! This is your only chance to get these without trekking down Texas way, so don’t put it off!
Also! The Dropped Stitch’s owner Hannah Wilson (that’s me) will be appearing on the 2nd annual Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament this Monday, February 17, competing against 38-game superchamp Matt Amodio and original head writer for Captain Planet (really!) Doug Molitor. A live watch party will be hosted by our friends at Pizza Lobo Andersonville (5457 N Clark) and you’re invited - the show starts at 3:30 pm sharp, so be there on time!
And lastly, don’t forget that new classes are always showing up on the site - most recently I’ve added a lace knitting class this March. And there’s still room available for Jess’s two-week Learn to Crochet class, starting this Saturday!
