Discussion on status of wrought iron fence installation at Fisherman’s Beach
Although a preliminary discussion of potential plans for a pickle ball court at North Star Beach had been planned as an agenda item, this will take place instead in November. After this was announced as an agenda item, a noise study was submitted by a resident. Due to the growing opposition to installation of the pickle ball court, postponing this discussion until November will allow time for all sides on the issue to research the pros and cons and present any research, findings, and evaluations to the Board which thoroughly address noise, related property concerns, and any mitigation factors. Studies submitted by residents on both sides of this issue will be included in the November Board packet.
The HOA needs a fair and open discussion where all views can be expressed and heard so the Board can make an informed decision on whether to go ahead or, alternatively, remove pickle ball as part of the improvements at North Star Beach. As this cannot be a rushed decision, or a one-sided opinion, and everyone’s voice is important, the pickle ball discussion will take place in November. We invite everyone to participate.
