The July board meeting of the Dover Shores Community Association will be conducted via Zoom on Tuesday, July 20. The general session with homeowner participation begins at 5PM.

Some potential Agenda items include:

A discussion on the current Fine Schedule for (1) violations of Architectural and Landscape control procedures, and (2) violations of any of the other Governing Documents such as the CC&Rs and Beach Rules and Policies, and whether they should be revised.

There will also be an update from the Landscape and Architectural Committees on their joint efforts to revise Architectural Control Procedures, so they include review by the Landscape Committee on a much quicker timeline. Going forward, the Landscape Committee will review Landscape Plans as soon as they are received by the Architecture Committee. The goal is to shorten approval periods for new construction and remodels, and to make the process smoother for the homeowner.

As usual, there will be an update on Beach Improvements and an update on the Beach BBQs.

The Beach Committee will discuss trespassers on Fisherman’s Beach and what steps can be taken to avoid this.

The Beach Committee will discuss how to address violations of beach rules, particularly people bringing dogs onto the beach.
