Rock Spectacle?

It's been one heck of a while since we last communicated with you. How're things? How's the family? Having a good long weekend?

Hey, speaking of weekends: did you catch any of The Junos a week ago? Speaking of The Junos, did you happen to catch that those Canadian Songwriter's Hall of Fame inductees Barenaked Ladies blocked our guy Mac Cameron on Twitter last week?

Guess BNL didn't much care for Episode 3 of the DOMINIONATED Podcast: The Top 10 Barenaked Ladies Songs (that we know). Is the episode truly block-worthy? We don't think so, but you'll have to decide for yourself:

What else is going on?

When he's not wowing us with insightful writing, DOMINIONATED contributor Jon Neher makes beautiful music with Regina's Nick Faye & The Deputies. The band is on the brink of releasing a new album, Stumbling Distance, produced by the legendary Michael Wojewoda. The recently shared "Told You", the first taste of the record via our very dear friends from across the pond, The Line of Best Fit:

Contributor Natasha Ramoutar wrote about the latest from Nigerian-born, Toronto-based artist BiddySings:

Bryce Charlie shared his first post for DOMINIONATED, featuring London, ON's Westminster Park:

Mac Cameron brought us a lullaby courtesy of B.C.'s Dakk'One:

Geoff Parent dove head-first into New Material from Preoccupations:

We also got another tonne of great music through our online submission form since we last sent out a newsletter, so we took the best of what we haven't been able to share over on the blog and compiled another Mailbag Mixtape (this time on Spotify) to share exclusively with our newsletter subscribers. Share it on social media and give us a shout out as to what your favourite mixtape tunes are:
