Week 8, 2024: Websites
Hello internet friends,
What a weird week that was. Not in the way that anything really happened in my life except for the usual routines but somehow my sleep was all messed up. I either didn't sleep much at all or had really intense dreams.
Let's see if the next week is going to be any better but if I just go by Monday - no, probably not.
I didn't really buy anything online for quite a while and then I needed something and now I'm fighting the weird little short-time addiction that comes with an online order for me. I'm afraid to say that the fun of spending money, the excitement when the package tracking gets updated and the thrill of getting a little gift from past me are about as dumb as they are real. So of course I started to order more stuff.
So far I can tell myself that while I don't actually need the things I bought, I also don't not need them. So it's not like I ordered garbage that will just gather dust somewhere. Anyway. Let's hope that this little burst is gone by now and that I can stay strong. (Even though I kind of do need a little camera strap. Just because.)
Besides being only half-awake and doing online-shopping I mostly futzed around with my websites. Have I told you how much I like websites? Especially personal websites? They're so fun to visit and read. And one's own is fun to tinker with. There are so many things one can do with them. It's great, isn't it? You should give it a go, if you haven't. And let me know if you do. I'd like to look at your website.
