Week 22, 2024: Pineapple and Glue
Hello internet friends,
This sentence stopped me in my tracks for a short while because it put into words a certain unease that I've been feeling lately. (And which might be the reason why I don't have much motivation to futz around with my website(s) at the moment.)
To be online today is to constantly walk a tight-rope between the longing to be known and the dread of being perceived.
The article itself is about Polywork (remember Polywork?) specifically but also about being online in general. Ugh. Anyway.
By accident I started watching Bodkin on Netflix and while I can tell it might not be everybody's cup of tea, I like it a lot so far. Exactly my kind of humor and everyone is amusingly unpleasant. Give the first episode a go, who knows - it might be for you.
