Week 21, 2024: A Rock A Day
Dear diary,
Oh, sorry:
Hello, internet friends!
Have you eaten your glue pizza, yet?
Calm week this week and somehow I'm still not out of the consume and not create mood that I have written about earlier this month. I can tell it's going to end soon, though - probably at the most inopportune time. After all, I already got the domain.
So why not talk a bit about things I consumed? (This is going to be a lot of links to YouTube.)
The Spectacular Failure of the Star Wars Hotel - Jenny Nicholson did what she does best: go to a theme park thing and make a long video about it. Four hours long in this case. And you can bet I watched all four of them.
Try Again - my friend and fellow weeknoter Teymur is giving YouTube another shot and I'm looking forward to how his "a bit like weeknotes but not really"-weekly videos will evolve over time.
The Boiler Room sets of Yung Singh in Melbourne and Prozak in Sydney are both pretty much in my wheelhouse.
Uh-oh: ICQ is shutting down soon. I've been an early user (seven digits UIN) and it is fair to say that my life would have been a lot different without it. I think I "deleted" my account back when the russians bought it. As far as I can tell the only effect that had was that my name was changed to "Deleted" and I couldn't log in anymore.
Have a good week ahead! Toodles!
