Hello past subscribers! We're heading somewhere new so it's time to revive the Heartbeat newsletter. Here's Captain Andy on our shakedown cruise a few weeks ago in the Thousand Islands, from Prescott to Gananoque and back.

Tomorrow we leave on our long summer cruise down the St Lawrence with destination Tadoussac and a wish to see whales. We'll be gone for up to eight weeks. Once we pass Iroquois in a few hours, which is where Heartbeat spends the winter, we'll be in new waters.

When we leave we'll turn on the Spot satellite tracker (link) so you can track our progress. The page shows nothing right now but you should start seeing a track sometime on Sunday June 18.

Happy summer everyone, and I'll be back with an update in a week or so. (Will they make it through the seaway locks? Will there be an empty slip at the Pointe Claire Yacht Club so we can visit Eric, Alicia, Adeline and Bailey? Will the smoke from the forest fires hide the sun?)
