Hello! It's been a while since I last did a newsletter! Sorry about that! I've been incredibly busy working on the Demo of my game, which, by the way,
✦ The DEMO of "Love, I'm not good for you" is finally OUT! ✦
A woman receives a message from her boyfriend. He wants to break up!
Join our protagonist in her journey handling her relationship with her boyfriend (or ex bf!), old and new friends, family and dealing with her own identity.
"Love, I'm not good for you" is a romance / mystery visual novel, with point-and-click elements, about two trans people trying to find each other. You can explore their phones to understand their lives before and after they meet.
(There's only one ending but how you reach that ending changes depending on your choices!)
The Demo only covers EP1. Well, most of it! There are 2 items that you won't be able to click (but you ARE able to see!).
Like the title says, I've worked on this Demo for 2 YEARS! I started working on it just a month atfer I released my game entry for the Only One of Any Asset jam (O2A2), in July 2023.
If you've read my past newsletters, you already know the chaotic journey of this game, lmao. 😂😤 At the beginning, I was planning to make 2 sequels to this game (2 more short games), while revamping the original game jam entry. THEN, I decided against it and said I was gonna revamp it but nothing else.
AND THEN, I changed my mind again (yes, really, lmao.) and decided that, no, I wasn't going to make any more sequels,
I was going to make a BRAND < NEW > game that was like 2 short games together!
EP1 is pretty much the revamp of my game jam entry! So if you've played the original, go and play this new game!! 😁✨
✦ Pause. Taking a break.
Since I've worked on this Demo for 2 years, I need a break!
Even though my mind already wants to work on EP2, hubby is keeping me in check, lmao (thank u 😵💫🥺). I've been working on this Demo for 2 years, so naturally, my mind and body are exhausted. Sigh.
Especially because I'm disabled (my body can hurt A LOT if I'm not careful. Seriously. 🙁😵💫)
So, I'm taking a break from this game. I may do some bug fixes here and there, but nothing more! ^^
BUT!
This break is giving me time to play around with NEW ideas!
SO!!! I'm planning to make a NEW short game!
No, really! It's gonna be a very short game for Yaoi Jam and/or Spooktober VN Jam! This game will help me get rid of this itch to work on something (noooo! >:c) while also, taking my time to rest and just, do nothing. ☺️🫡 This game is supposed to be for fun, so it'll be available for free!
I thought about making it commercial but, in the end, I decided against it. When I think about putting a price to it (even if it's cheap), I get stressed. And that defeats the point of making this game (that it's for fun!!!!). So no!
I wanna enjoy making it without any added stress!!!!!

(I may or may not make some nsfw drawings of the characters of this new game on my patreon (gasp!). don't ask. even i'm surprised at this, lmao. and the worst is that, it's plot-relevant. omg, what??????)
