july: i'm so proud of this update 🤗🤩 so, here's a short video!
Hello! Long time no see! 😁
You are probably wondering what happened to June newsletter? Well, I’ve decided that, from now on, newsletters will be published on the first week of the month! It’s easier that way for me tbh.
BUT!
For this schedule to work, I had to: or a) skip June newsletter or b) skip July newsletter… and since we were already at the end of June, I simply decide to go ahead and skip June. 🫡😌
(don’t judge me please 🙇🏽🙏🏽)
Alright, let’s see the updates!
1. The phone screens and icons are almost done!

In total, for EP1, there’s gonna be a set of 5 apps!
Three apps (including the icons and the phone screens) are completely done! You can see the full images of these phone screens on my Kofi, if you become a member!
As I’ve said before, for this game, you’ll be able to interact with her phone more ^^! Maybe not a full interactive phone (because I don’t have the resources nor the energy to do it tbh 🙇🏽♂️😰) but enough for the story to be understood!
Plus, this game is supposed to be short so, I think it’s alright! ^^
The two apps left: One, which is the chatting app, is already on its final stage to be completed. The other one is a pretty simple app! It won’t take much to finish this one. 😁 It’s the mechanic behind this last app I’m a bit worried (I haven’t coded it yet) 🤔… but! we’ll see! And no, I won’t tell you what’s this app about, hehehe! 😋
At least, not for now!
2. The phone background: changes and the final result!

This is the phone background image of our MC’s phone! You can see how it changed from the original version! At first, I wasn’t gonna change it but then, I noticed the cats were a bit… off. So I decided to draw them again but, this time, using the Linework tools in SAI, which made the cats more round! 😁
I also decided to change the background behind the cats a bit, for a gradient pastel emerald and added a little item behind too.
But then! Someone commented that they couldn’t see well the white cats because they were over a pastel color… and I agree! So I decided to change it again! 😁 Now, you can clearly see the white cats because there are bushes behind them (of strong green and light green) and behind the bushes, there’s a plain sky blue color. No more pastel colors this time hahaha;; 😅🫡
Honestly? I love this third version the MOST! 💕💕 So thank you so much for helping me in this journey! 🥹💕

3. My patreon has been officially unlaunched.
I’m still a bit sad about this but, honestly, I don’t want my eyes to suffer. 😑 Like I said before, it was hurtful to my eyes trying to read my posts with such a tiny font, and so tedious having to zoom in (at 150-175%) the screen every time I wanted to write a post. Sigh.
Which is why I’m glad Kofi blog posts have a BIG font size! Makes writing posts a pleasure to my eyes. 🥹😋 Ofc, it doesn’t have all the tools that Patreon has but at least, I’m comfortable there! 😁
