I wish I could say 'happy new year!' and all but, I can't.

To sum in a few sentences: something really awful happened to our cat at the beginning of the year that destroyed our (me and my partner) mental health so bad, we couldn't do anything else. 🙁😔

I'll be honest, we are still struggling with the after effects of what happened (sigh) but, I can at least say we are doing alright now. Still struggling 😵‍💫😔, but we are taking one day at the time. 😌😁

That being said,

there were some things I promised I'd show on january but, due to everything 😵‍💫, that didn't happen. So I'll do my best to show them now! ^^

1 ) Bonding Experience: fixing sprites!!

I've been fixing the sprites of this game for a while now!

Since the sprites I drew were originally made for a game jam with a fixed time-frame, I rushed many things and, at that time, I honestly thought his clothes looked decent...

Well, once I look at it AGAIN, I realized that his clothes were so... stiff? His cardigan was supposed to be a loose clothing but this one looked so rigid and NOT comfy to wear AT ALL.

So I changed it! 😁

2. DMEOW is now DMEOW ART!

But I'll still call it DMEOW for short!

This change is mostly to avoid confusion with other brands. But also, maybe I just want an excuse to draw a new logo? XD

I've been wanting to change the logo of my studio since last year actually, BUT! It's only now that I have the time (and energy!) to do it! ^^

3. Don't touch the cat! : The spanish translation is finally here!!! 🥰🎉

Like I promised last year,

the spanish translation for this game is finally completed!!!

It took longer to complete it due to unexpected (bad) things that I already mentioned. 😔😵‍💫

And because I left it for a while, I had to review the translation again to make sure I was satisfied with it. Plus, I had forgotten to translate the sound captions and onomatopoeias too (oh god OTL). And some GUI images. And the option to change languages in the menu and splash screen.

. . . I forgot many things now that I think about it, lmao. 🤔😵‍💫

But it's finally here ! ! !
