I used to write silly and chaotic reviews for indie games (visual novels) when I had some spare time in my busy, busy life. No one actually asked me to do it, I just wanted to. Back then, I had a blog where I posted all of these reviews but I later shut it down bc, honestly, I wasn’t really using it.
Due to stressssss and being focused on finishing my very first game, I realized I didn’t have time (nor energy) to have a blog :c So I had to close it.
BUT!
I put so much love and effort on writing those reviews that I chose to save some of them (I wanted to save all of them but it was so tedious having to do it all one by one, so… ¯\(ツ)/¯ ).
So here they are!
Project Kawasaki (Now “Dear Mom, My Letter to You”)
Ayame Kawasaki is a spirited girl who has been reclusive for the past year, following a tragic and traumatic incident. Today, she steps out to begin her life anew, repeating her second year at Yamada Hoshi High School. Embark on an emotional journey of loss, redemption, and the bonds that will blossom into meaningful connections, or even love.
Review: Part 1 and Part 2 ( To read Part 2, you have to click on the “Read More”. Don’t click on the title because it’s not saved there uu )
LoveSick Darlings is a grounded, realistic, emotional story about a close group of friends at school growing up and trying to understand their own feelings - as well as the feelings of those around them.
You play as Syd, teenage boy who goes to Foster Hill High - a school in a quiet Australian town. The school year is coming to a close and Syd has to decide how he's going to confess his feelings to his crush - all this while juggling several other friendships and potential love interests in his life.
Hayden is kind of an asshole. He also just had his long-term relationship destroyed, and his partner is gone forever... so now he's not only an asshole - he's a bitter, mournful asshole desperate to rebuild a meaningful relationship.
Despite his grief, our protagonist (and charming narrator) won't let any of that show - at least to the outside world. He's just moved away for college, after all, and wants to keep the negativity to a minimum. (…)
And then, for no reason, these girls show up. It's like wherever he goes, they go.
My reviews are messy and chaotic, so please, don’t expect a “formal” review bc I just did it for fun! ^^ Maybe in the future I can write one again but I can’t promise anything bc I’m still busy!
