August: so what's this game about? Is it a dating sim?

Before anything else, I know I said I would post these newsletters the first week of the month but I got sick! (again, grrrr) *cough* 😷🤧 So I think I have a valid excuse haha;; 😅😤 This also may slow progress for this month but I still want to continue working on it bc I’m in the mood to do it hehehe!! 🥹🥰
Like I said in previous newsletters, “Love, I’m not good for you” is gonna be a stand-alone game that feels like 2 short games together: 2 EPs! I like calling them EPs because I see them as that, as Episodes of a story :3!
The first EP is the revamped game jam version (available to play for free!) and the second EP is the sequel! I believe this story can be understood with just 2 EPs, so I hope you like it! :D
But before going into details,
I have some other news!
1. “And I saw the stars falling down…” is now available to play in browser!

That’s right!
Finally, my first game is available in browser!
It’s something I had been thinking about for a while now. All my other games are already available in browser so this was a MUST!
When I released my first game, I had absolutely no idea on how to create the Web build because, well, it was my first game! 😅 I didn’t know many things then, haha;;; But now that I’ve gained more experience, I wanted to at least make it a web game.

It’s a free visual novel about a family and domestic violence. The characters will try to argue the situation is not their fault or that it's not really that important, and it's up to the reader to find out what really happened!
2. “Love, I’m not good for you”: So, what IS / IS NOT this game about?

Just to be clear,
This game is not a dating sim!
That’s not to say dating sim games are bad! Nothing like that! But I don’t want people to expect something that’s not there in the first place and feel like I’ve misled them. 😣😞
BUT!
It IS a romantic, mystery visual novel!
With a small (BIG) psychological aspect behind the interaction between characters and seeing their thoughts as well, all while using their phones :0!!!
LoveIS a crucial theme on this game but it’s not a contest to see who ends up with who. More like, get to know each character and draw conclusions on your own! 🥰💖
Besides, I AM a mystery game dev so, my stories will reflect that! 🔥💖 I’ve also said before publicly that I’m not interested at all in creating dating sim games. Again, they are not bad! It’s just not my cup of tea! 🤗
(But! There will be always some kind of Love going on with my stories. ❤️🔥💕)

Not only I’m doing tiktoks now (oh god),
I’m also trying Shorts on YouTube!
At first, I only used this format to upload TikToks that were rejected there (I dunno 🤔) but now, I’m trying this format in a serious marketing manner! :o
Also, it’s a quick way to show the behind-the-scenes of my drawings until a full video is done! A full video takes more time and effort, so doing Shorts is a quick way to make content until a video is done. 😁 Not just speedpaintings but other things! ^^
I won’t promise I’ll upload x10000 shorts every day bc then I’ll end up exhausted soon 😤😟 and I don’t want that! So, we’ll see how it goes! ❤️🔥🔥
