“Hey, where’s march update?” you may be wondering! Well, I actually got a part-time job (not game dev related) and some commissions! ^^ So, I got very busy (way more than usual) and didn’t have the time to actually post updates about the game.
I was planning to post a notice about it here (in the Notes section) but I forgot, to be honest hahaha;;; OTL
I did post about it on Patreon (public post) and itchio though! ^^;;

I have more images of our MC! ^^ These are all images I’ve posted (without any watermark) in my Patreon! One is from many, many months ago and the other one is from very recently! ^^
Remember when I showed her original concept design in a previous newsletter? Well, now, you can see how the character is looking! Some things may change but overall, I think it’s her almost final look for EP1! Almost, because I still need to work on her clothes! 😅
I’m actually working on many things at once (art, programming, design, promotion, writing, art again, etc… game dev is so wonderful but it also leaves you SO exhausted, lmao) so there are some things still not finished but I AM working on them! ^^
I also posted a video of how the GUI (Game User Interface) is looking so far on my Patreon! I’m still not sure about the animation of the title screen… I like it buuuuut I feel like I could add some things… or maybe I just need to put some sound effects to see it in full. We’ll see! 🤔

What?! There was an update on this game?!
YES! There was!
To be honest, it wasn’t a really important update haha;;; OTL But! It was my opportunity to a) improve some (just some!) dialogues between the characters, and b) test the butler itchio app!
The butler app is an incredibly useful app for creators on itch.io to upload new games and post updates without having to manually upload the whole game all over again!
To be honest, I had know of this app long ago BUT I didn’t know how to set it up correctly. It’s kinda intimidating 😥, and the first time I tried using it didn’t work, so I gave up;;; OTL
But now! I can do it without problem! ^^
If you haven’t played it yet, you can do it now! It’s available to play on browser! "Don't touch the cat!" is a FREE mystery, psychological horror game about, well, cats! And a guy on his first day at work! It's a really short game and it has 4 endings!
