I saw this meme and I thought everyone needed to have it.
Let me say that again in case it didn’t drill in YOUR ART MATTERS EVEN IF IT ISNT MAKING MONEY!
Abundance is a lot of things- sometimes it is actual money wealth but sometimes it is love- someone opening up to tell you they love what you do and would be sad if you stopped. Sometimes it is moments of dancing together. Sometimes it is moments of laughing together. Your art matters even if you don’t have the one kind of wealth people tell you matters in this society.
but if your art IS making money, have you ever felt comfortable talking about how you got there? Even if it isn’t a lot?
Would you be willing to share one skill you think others would benefit from?
This year, I’m planning on launching a support (get it) group for creators to talk and ask each other questions to grow. More on that another day! But for now I’m going at it on writing as many resources as I can on my blog.
Reply to this email with the one thing you think is your very best and I will be compiling all of the wonderful ideas along with 3 or 4 of my own ideas.
I can share ideas anonymously or I can credit you in case you don’t feel comfortable or are not ready to be visible for how knowledgeable you are.
but your advice and your art, always matter! Even if they aren’t making money yet. When you take a look they are definitely making your life more abundant.
