Insider Microsoft History
A short issue this week since I'm seeing my co-founder in person for the first time in about 4 years. Enjoy!

Building a recommendation engine inside Postgres with Python and Pandas
The Crunchy Data blog is a new discovery for me. They publish a lot of PostgreSQL material, and this one was particularly interesting.
I'm unsure of the wisdom of embedding so much advanced logic inside PostgreSQL, but regardless this is a nice read and may give you some ideas.
Hardcore Software
This is essentially a serialized book by Steven Sinofsky, who started at Microsoft in the 1980s and worked his way up to the president of the Windows division over a few decades. There's a lot of nostalgia here for me, as Sinofsky covers the Microsoft vs. Borland C++ wars, the move to 32-bit Windows, and other topics from a perspective that you can't find anywhere else. Highly recommended.
What I'm Working On
More work on Ergo, getting database table schemas and such set up. With all of that out of the way, I'm starting on getting a simple "event causes an action" workflow up and running.
