Long Time, No Write -- Summer Preview of What Is Left

Greetings from the Mississippi River.

The last we spoke the league had more teams and there was a lawsuit maybe on the horizon. Since then, Marshall, Southern Miss, and Old Dominion have departed this grouping ... and and UCLA and USC joined the B1G??

It sure is a crazy time out here in college football's America. I have debated (internally) continuing the coverage of the league. There are diminishing returns, and a moving target. There is a right way to do it, and that is with everything I have. There is the way I can do it, which is with considerably less than that.

I think what we can settle on is something in between. A newsletter -- this device -- here, with some thoughts and updates and considerably less resources consumed than the main site and podcast.
