Last night we saw La Tech and FIU battle it out at the bottom of the league. The Panthers were clearly the worst team in the nation —and league for the first weeks of the season. Their performances in recent weeks — closer than expected game vs UTSA, wins over CLT, Tech — demonstrate that the “worst” designation is not permanent.
