Championship Game

We previewed the game on the site.

This week has been tiring. You can see the staffers and the various media crazy enough to be here all week for all games. In years’ past, I did the full gamut of mens’ and women’s coverage and was very beatdown. Unfortunately, the support for the women’s coverage does not make up for the time and effort. There is some good basketball, and some good stuff happening there but facts are facts. This year I’ve spent the time doing some Frisco stuff (eating, drinking, being merry).

Still, I am pretty tired. The benefit of publishing an online-only outlet that is opposed to chasing empty clicks is that we do not have deadlines to meet. You know, those things that force some of the artifice and half-assed work by your least favorite beat writers.

I appreciate good writing, good work, and thoughtful opinions. I do not appreciate half-assery.
