A little history…
Sometime around 2003-2004, I was bestowed the domain dogtoe.com which I quickly embraced as my own personal domain name.
Without knowing it’s original purpose or creator’s intention, I was simply elated to own a relatively short, and relatively simple domain name.
After nearly 20 years, I’m happy to say that this domain is still alive and kickin’.
And now for some insight…
A dog’s toe is just one example of digitigrade locomotion in land mammals (specifically those with four legs).
Extrapolating the advantages of a digitigrade, we can apply these same concepts to a posture.
Similarly, the idiom “tiptoe around” can be applied to our technique of tackling new challenges or, as it relates to IT, opperating inside of a new environment.
