Travel tips for introverts
Make business cards to hand to people around you on your flight, saying “As an introvert, I don’t like small talk, as I am much more of a deep, intellectual who only likes talking about the complexities of life.”
Wear a gravity blanket around the airport to hide under.
When the airline rep at the check in desk asks for your id, tell them, “It’s not that I don’t like people, I just don’t like shallow interactions,”
Ask to board the plane before everyone else, including those with accommodations. Explain that you need a place of your own to journal and “recharge” from the interaction you had at the security line.
