This is belated but Ninefox Gambit’s 10th anniversary edition (Bookshop.org) dropped last week! So yes, the book is in hardcopy print again. I’m not sure about ebook availability outside of e.g. Bookshop.org or Amazon; Solaris Books (my publisher/imprint) was semi-recently acquired by Profile Books so I think some logistical changeover is going on.

Candle Arc: I’m past a minute in animatic proof of concept, still making progress! About to talk to an instructor at my program re: preparation for scoring in an year’s time regarding comps that aren’t anime (Shoujo Kakumei Utena, Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These) or ~manhwa (YouTube’s Alien Stage) or USAn 2D cartoon animation (Batman Beyond). The main one I can think of is Princes et Princesses (2000) but I’m sure there are others that make sense as style reference!

I apologize for the late notice; I was on vacation at Handweavers Guild of America’s fiber arts conference Convergence as it was in New Orleans this year and therefore semi-local to me! I ate beignets :) and had a terrific time meeting folks. I’m a novice hobbyist but people were so welcoming and kind. My health has been vexed, but I made it to Split-Shed Weaving with Deborah Silver, a very cool “pictorial” weaving technique for 4+ shaft looms, and Cobweb Spinning with Thomas Victor, which really pushed me on spinning fine. I’m eager to practice more weaving and spinning at home! I have Plans for a Ninefoxery jacket weaving but it will be a Process lol.
