First, my book FOX SNARE released yesterday from Rick Riordan Presents (Disney Hyperion)! It's the third/final book of the Thousand Worlds space opera trilogy for middle grade (ages 8 to 12), so a better starting point is #1 DRAGON PEARL (#2 is TIGER HONOR). Fox spirit Min, tiger spirit cadet Sebin, and dragon spirit cadet/-shaman-in-training Haneul team up to survive a death planet after a diplomatic mission to heal tensions between the Thousand Worlds and the Sun Clans is sabotaged. DEATH PLANETTTTTT!

What are you working on?
Still awaiting edits on Moonstorm #2 (formerly Lancers), so I'm still plugging away at the linguistics space opera and noodling at a Ninefox webcomic thing as a personal project.
What's one thing you're reading right now?
I recently started S. L. Huang's THE WATER OUTLAWS - a genderspun retelling of the Chinese classic WATER MARGIN. I'm not familiar with the source, but so far: lady warriors, magic, martial arts, ADVENTURE!
What are you watching lately?
My husband and I inhaled WHEEL OF TIME Season 2, which has done such an amazing job of adapting Robert Jordan's sprawling epic fantasy, and then we inhaled ONE PIECE live action Season 1. My husband knows the anime/manga, but I came in cold, and it worked so well for both of us. I recommend both highly!
What are you listening to lately?
Brian Keene introduced me to Katy Perry recently so I have been listening to Teenage Dream. :) Teenage me would have been scandalized. :)
What's a game you're playing lately?
I'm making my way through the tutorials in Dr. Wolf for iOS, which teaches chess! I'm enjoying it a lot.
Who's an artist you're enjoying lately?
Katy Lipscomb does beautiful animals, including the mythological kind! One of her original pieces of a winged fox (foxasus?) is on my wall. You can buy a print of the piece, but she has many other lovely things at her online store!
