First, some great news - We received our ISO-27001:2013 certification a couple days ago. This helps your security and procurement teams because our controls and processes are audited and kept consistent as we scale.

Now let’s look at what we’ve delivered so far. This past year was a defining one for Defguard: we grew fast and shipped major product improvements shaped by user feedback. Check out the full recap of the 2025 milestones and a look at what’s coming in 2026.

Near future - 2.0

The upcoming Defguard 2.0 release will fulfill many of the enterprise VPN needs that our customers are asking for - learn about the details of the release here.

What’s after that?

Our vision extends to DefGuard becoming a full-feature firewall solution replacing legacy solutions.
