The Summer Edition: The Kaiju are out, and A Perfect Rock

This is The Summer Edition of the Deep Dark Newsletter, and we’ve got free stuff for you!

Your home planet was destroyed.
You are aboard the last Generation Ship with the sole survivors of your people. You must find a perfect rock: a new planet to call home.
First up, we’ve just released A Perfect Rock: a sci-fi worldbuilding game about searching for a new home using collected rocks as planets.
Channel the exploration of Interstellar, The Outer Wilds, or Subnautica with this easy-to-learn game. It’s perfect for a quick one-shot, solo or with friends, and it’s FREE!
It’s one of the most popular physical games on itch, and people have lots to say:
“This game is fabulous.”
“Really love the simplicity of the rules!”
“Absolutely impeccable design work.”
“Using actual rocks to envision the player’s future home planet is genius!”
But check it out for yourself, and I hope you find a perfect rock.

Just like a Kaiju breaching the Rift, HOME is out and in the world!
Kickstarter backers have received their copies, and stores like IPR, Tabletop Bookshelf, and Zulu’s Games have already sold out! (Don’t worry, more are on the way…)
I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how many people are playing with their kids, and how much they enjoy HOME too.
(Wait, this is a game about giant robots and monsters… why am I surprised??)
