AI won't replace what makes us human
3 machine limits · 2 human advantages · 1 question before you decide
I use AI every week—drafts, summaries, patterns, hours back on my calendar.

Three limits (what machines do well—and where they stop)
1. Capability ≠ humanity
AI can write, analyze, and recommend. It cannot fully read the room you are accountable for.
2. Patterns ≠ possibilities

3. Language ≠ empathy
Simulated compassion is not mercy when efficiency would be easier.
Two human advantages
Advantage 1 — Judgment under ambiguity
When the spreadsheet and the story disagree, experience and emotional context still win—or should.
Advantage 2 — Connection at scale
Burnout before metrics turn red. Frustration before it is voiced. Grace when push would be cruel.
