Whether a friend invited you to sign up or you found us somewhere on the internet, I’m glad you decided to check us out. Keep an eye on your inbox — we use email to communicate with members and to share details on upcoming dinner parties!

Just to give you some background info on the Decatur Supper Club (DSC), here are the basics:

We’re All Friends Here: We’re a community-organized group of people who enjoy hosting and attending potluck-style gatherings. Some of us knew each other prior to DSC, some of us met for the first time at a DSC dinner party. Either way, we’re all friends here!
Many Hands Make Light Work: We’re not a business, and we don’t charge money for club membership. We just ask that members pitch in to help with each dinner party — whether that’s signing up to make a dish, hosting, taking the trash out, or doing some dishes.
Our Community Standards: We exist to help build community! As such, we expect everyone to abide by our community standards. TL;DR — don’t be a jerk, and treat people the way they want to be treated. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any kind of bigotry, harassment, threats, or hateful behavior.
Fostering an Inclusive Space: Finally (and most importantly), the DSC is all about having fun and sharing good food! Our dinner parties are casual, no-stress, and intended for everyone. If there’s anything we can do to make you feel more comfortable or included, please do not hesitate to let me know!
