If you’re a lefty and interested in education, there are only a handful of podcast options for you, at least in terms of stuff that’s ongoing and not one-off investigations or episodes. I’ve never seen these left education podcasts listed anywhere. The ones I’ve found are:

• Have You Heard

• The Human Restoration Project’s podcast

• Another Education is Possible

• The Critical Teaching and Learning Forum

• Nothing Never Happens

• Education Today on KPFA

• National Education Policy Center’s Talks Education

The last one is run by the wonderful Chris Saldaña and he has a lot of academics, researchers, and other experts come on (across the political spectrum, but largely progressive and leftwards from there).

This week, along with the little list above, I’m sending an episode of that podcast that I recorded with Chris and Roseanne Liu, who’s book Designed to Fail: Why Racial Equity in School Funding Is So Hard to Achieve is really great.
